Carsten Nicolai aka Alva Noto asked me if i’d like to do the visuals for the upcoming tour of him and Ryuichi Sakamoto and to be on tour with them. That sounded exciting to me. I agreed immediately. The project started around May 2005.
Jan and i have been playing at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
From June 18th till August 29th 2005 Carsten Nicolai showed his work “Subvision” at the Akademie der K�nste in Berlin as part of the exhibition K�NSTLER.ARCHIV. Dienststelle was commissioned to program the visualisation and the MIDI triggering of the music instrument.
As part of the “Nacht der Museen” we had a big event at the FKV in Frankfurt. It was called “Architektur und Wirklichkeit” which means “Architecture and Reality”.
The video of my “LED” Installation was recorded the next day. The sound, which is triggering the characters, is not recorded.
Dienststelle supported Frank Reineckes visualisation of classical music “Vertonte Bilder - Gemalte Klänge” which was performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra Heidelberg.
Jan and i have been playing at the Netmage05 Festival in Bologna, Italy. It was quite cold there in January. The ancient architecture was very impressive.

Torsten Oetken and Michel Weinholzner of Visomat started the “DIN AV” Label. The first outcome is the DVD DIN AV 01/04/CN/86.03 released on ~Scape. My video FBAS Furniture is one of the three “screensavers” on the DVD.
For the World Premiere Tour of the new BMW One Series Dienststelle was commissioned to produce an animation for a laser projection.
