I was asked by Pilot ArGe to do a video for a marketing campaign for BMW. Several video artists contributed to the project, like 242.pilots, D-Fuse, minuszero, monitor.automatique and Cinetik. We were all given video footage of the new BMW X3 Sports Utility Vehicle which should be used in any way. The result was a DVD with all the videos (for internal use only) and a website at www.avience.net, which is offline by now.

The video plays with the title of the album La Nouvelle Pauvert� and the music piece My Favourite Shop. The footage was shot one saturday along �Europe�s shopping mile with the highest turnover�, the Zeil in Frankfurt am Main. In between the heavily distorted contours of passers-by, the letters �single items reduced� appear in a shop display window. The color surfaces dissolving into single persons are “reduced” as well.

Heike Sperling approached us at Meso if we would like to make some animations for the relaunch of the german VivaPlus TV Station. One of the new formats were the City Formats, where VJs (moderators) would report daily on the latest news in the cities of London, Tokio, Berlin, Los Angeles and Hamburg.
