Heike Sperling approached us at Meso if we would like to make some animations for the relaunch of the german VivaPlus TV Station. One of the new formats were the City Formats, where VJs (moderators) would report daily on the latest news in the cities of London, Tokio, Berlin, Los Angeles and Hamburg.
Michael H�pfel of Meso did the trailers for Los Angeles, while i did those for London (which you can see here). Some other Friends of ours were involved in the Job as well. Chris Rehberger, besides developing the overall concept together with Heike, designed a special brand font for VivaPlus, called INOM and Stefanie Barth of StilettoNYC did some very nice Trailers for the Colgne Morning/Day/Night Format.
For the London Trailers i used Microsoft Excel on the Mac for animating the charts. The PDF File of the London Tube was used for some other animations, while the broken font, when being opened in Illustrator, was left the way it was.
