Michael Riedel - Jacques comité [Giacometti]
Artist Michael Riedel asked me to help him with an interactive artwork for his exhibition ‘Jacques comité [Giacometti]’ at Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
An omnidirectional microphone hanging from the ceiling receives the sounds in the exhibition area. Noises and french speech are being recognized and projected onto a curved surface. The perception of the words and noises is intentionally not perfect and leads to weird interpretations.
